Nebraska Cornhuskers defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh raced past the glamourous guys proving that one doesn't have to score touchdowns or toss passes to be the player of the year. Following a dominant performance against Texas in the title game, Suh became the first defensive player to be voted as such.
