Ndamukong Suh was found accused for clomping one of the opponents on the arm and for that, the Detroit Lions' playoff chances have taken a punch to the gut. He has been suspended by the NFL yesterday for two games without pay for stomping on Green Bay Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith during last week's Thanksgiving loss.
Suh was trying to defend himself and probably appealed his suspension. One of the VFL spokes person commented that, "a hearing will be held with Art Shell, an appointed appeal official who get salary by the Sports league and NFLPA.

The league has said it will accelerate the procedure to give Suh and the Lions an answer before Sunday's game at New Orleans.' If Suh doesn't win the petition, he will not be able to play against the Saints or in the Dec. 11 home game against Minnesota. He would return Dec. 12 ahead of a road game against the Raiders.
Voted one of the notorious players in the league in a Sporting News poll of his peers, Suh is the sixth player suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for on-field actions. The first, Albert Haynesworth, got five games for a more egregious stomping incident, and no other player has been suspended more than one game for on-field conduct.
