America's most important and popular Football day was also marked by some enviable ads which can now be seen online. The ads which were telecast related to beer, cars, partial nudity and movie preview for a brief attention of TV fans. As the advertisers spent nearly $3 million for a 30 seconds ad, it was a mixed bag of good and bad commercials which were aired on CBS. The annual Championship games telecast drew 106.5 million viewers, the most ever for a US TV sports show, according to data from Nielsen Co. The game advertized products of video game publisher Electronic Arts Inc., Qualcomm Inc. Mobile phone semiconductor makers, and the tru TV cable network, flat screen TV maker Vizio Inc.,

Google, based in Mountain View, California rarely uses television to advertize unlike this time. The Super Bowl is a magnet for both traditional sports advertisers and other not so popular brands looking to make themselves known. You can still see the Super Bowl TV commercials online if you log on to the appropriate sites.

Megan Fox lounged in a bubble bath for Motorola Inc., and 2007 Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow was featured with his mother in a commercial for Focus on the Family, a non-profit Christian organization.

After the telecast, a Doritos ad was declared "most engaging" by TiVo Inc., a digital video recorder company which tracks viewership of TV and playback activities. A sports news spot of 60 seconds of Google Inc was adjudged the best ad as in the Google ad, there was a terrific linkage between the branding and the commercial.
