The Bland Blitz

This blog is a bit bland and the design needs a bit of improving...

One of the main problems with The Daily Blitz is the design. The garish orange background doesn't really compliment the text and pictures found on the rest of the site. But some of the football pictures are cool.

The length of the posts is okay, Kevin writes more than a few paragraphs each time, and as stated earlier, there's a big archive if you have time. But not as good as SB Nation.

This blog falls down when it comes to stats. There's no tables, leagues or anything really for nerds to get their nerdy teeth into.

Ok, how fun is this site? Are there games on offer? Does it do stupid things to photos? Run stupid competitions? We gave extra points for craziness..

He has links to Fantasy Football and other more personal blogs, plus the Facebook, so although there's no games or humor here, he does make some kind of effort to entertain.

Why is it different to other blogs? We graded originality and innovation..

In terms of its look and feel, it's just another football blog really. Nothing really innovative or original about the Daily Blitz, except the Facebook and RSS feeds.

Is this site up-to-date? Number of updated, relevant and quality news stories.

Updated daily, sometimes there's four or five posts in one day, other times just one. So it's a mixed bag. But this Kevin guy sure must be busy blogging.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with RSS feeds, video, HD, mobile and audio.

Like most of our Flops, this sports blog fails to offer a video blogging service of any kind, there's no audio but he does upload nice images.
