If there was a design concept here it would be nice, but this site is almost virtually imageless, no photos, no flash, no video, it's just lists of stats.

As all good sports sites, the information, stories and stats are separated by categories on the side, but once you click here, it leads to more lists of stats in a tiny font. You'll need a map and glasses to get around this site!

They have a feedback page, where they say they welcome comments, but there's no email address, no phone number or address. This Sports Wire is faceless.

This site has about as much heart and soul as a robot. There's no fun, no games, no personal touch, no comments, no opinion, we're starting to think it was created by c-3PO or R2D2.

How many stats are on this site? We graded quality, detail and scope of stats, historical league info and facts.
American Sports Wire claims it is unyielding in its focus on providing the most accurate sports scores and sports statistics on the Internet. True, you will discover a tremendous amount of information, with sports scores, statistics for both pre and post-game reports, historical data, injuries for both college and professional teams. But even a sports nerd will find these stats boring. We're getting sleepy.

Ok, how fun is this site? Are there games on offer? Does it do stupid things to photos? Run stupid competitions? We gave extra points for craziness.
Think of watching paint dry that's twice as fun as surfing this site. It's simply stats for robots, not fun for fans.

Why is it different to other sports sites? We graded originality and innovation.
Amazingly, this site looks like it is dead. It looks like nobody is updating it, but they are! Someone, somewhere is updating this site with all the results and fixtures of US sports from tennis to basketball, but with no real news or gossip of American sports online.
