Sportstravel.com, otherwise known as Premier Sports Travel, is one of the leaders in the relatively new concept of combining sports tickets with hotel and holiday packages. Here you can buy tickets for both of these.

Premier Sports Travel has an outdated design and the homepage can be alienating if you are just browsing. Though there is plenty of info on offer, it is not well organized and when we tried to check out their event calendar, it wasn't working.

Once you get to grips with how the information is organized, navigation is fairly straight forward. You can search by various specifics, including sport and location, but finding a particular package is a daunting and challenging task.

What events are being covered? Variety of sports events you can buy tickets for on the site. If the site is especially for sports, not music, even better..

Premier Sports Travel only offers online sports packages, which may include several events worth of tickets, plus accommodation, travel etc. While this is great if you are looking to book a complete trip revolved around your team's big game (and have money to spend), the fact that you can't just buy a ticket on this site is a real drawback. Packages are available for most of the big sports games, but if your fave isn't there you can have a custom package designed...for a price!

Descriptions of the sports events themselves are brief, but once you finally find the package you are looking for, rates and conditions are clearly explained so that there can be no doubt what you get for your money.

Are there deals here? We graded the extra value you can get for your buck..

Premier Sports is not the budget way to go the game, but is geared towards making the trip as easy and enjoyable as possible. So if you don't want the hassle of finding your own transport, hotel etc etc, then booking with Premier is certainly worth your money. For those of you willing to slog it out yourself, it is of course better value to buy the tickets and make the other arrangements yourself.

Premier Sports is the premier in sports package providers, and this is the single USP of this site. The pre-arranged packages have all the major events covered, the client managers think of everything you could need, and they can even create a unique package if you are looking for tickets to one of the less mainstream games.

Is this site up-to-date? We graded the number of updated, relevant and quality events available.

The listings of the events themselves are up to date, and there are no glaring omissions...except for the fact that the event calendar feature doesn't work, so it is hard to see whether they have all the biggies covered.

How big is this site? We evaluated the number of people actively using and shopping on this site..

Premier Sports caters for a niche market - those with money to spend - and it doesn't deal in individual ticket sales, so it is not as popular as some of the mainstream ticket providers. That said, if you are looking for tickets to those once in a lifetime events, perhaps for a special occasion, this is definitely a site worth checking out.
